24 hours to change a family’s future

It takes 2400 volunteer hours to build a Habitat home…but only 24 to fund one.

I missed it, but I still want to contribute.
Amazing! Simply amazing!
Thank you to the 270 donors who joined us in our One Day One Home campaign for Giving Hearts Day 2020. While we didn’t hit our goal of funding an entire home in one day (we knew that was a stretch!) we did raise an amazing…

That is enough to pay for nearly 1/2 of the Swanson’s future home, one of the 2 we will build in 2020!

Please mark your calendar for Giving Hearts Day 2021 (February 11) and help us get to our dream of One Home, One Day.

Continue to help by donating TODAY.

“I used to tell myself “One day…I will be able to buy a home” or “One day…I would love to live in this type of neighborhood”. Well, my “One day…” turned into “Today is the day!” on September 12th, 2018…the day I began to build my very own home.

Partnering with Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity and working alongside all the incredible volunteers within our community to build my family’s home is one of the most memorable and life changing times in my life thus far. A home was built, but so were friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

I support Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity because the home we built is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, because my daughter has a yard to play in and has made great friends nearby, because my mortgage payments help fund the construction of future homes for families in our community, and because the love and support I’ve gotten from everyone along this journey, my “One day…” is now my reality!

It takes 2,400 volunteer hours to build a Habitat Home but less than 24 hours to fund one. Your gift of just $24 this Giving Hearts Day will help to change the lives of families within our community forever. Please join me in supporting Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity this Giving Hearts Day because everyone deserves to turn “One day…” into “TODAY”.
