30th Anniversary Build

It all started with a dream, passion, inspiration, and hard work.

Help ensure the next 30 years of building. Help ensure the next 30 years of building.

There are few organizations that have made God smile like Habitat for Humanity does.

Pastor Phil Holtan, Founder - Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity
30 years of helping build strength, stability, self-reliance, and shelter.

In 1991, Pastor Phil Holtan and a group of Concordia College students attend a Peace Prize forum, where they heard former President Jimmy Carter speak about Habitat for Humanity and its efforts to eliminate poverty housing around the world.

Inspired to be a part of the cause, Pastor Phil formed the Concordia campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The interest, and the need to address local, substandard housing, grew rapidly and the decision to form Lake Agassiz Habitat was made.

65 homes built, hundreds of people impacted, tens of thousands of donors and volunteers, we are still the leading non-profit housing ministry in the area. Join us in celebrating 30 years of building homes, community, and hope.

Help us build Homes 66-69 this summer!
