Home is where the Art is
Location: Spirit Room Gallery - Downtown Fargo, ND
On February 4th, 2012 Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity ReStore will hold its second annual "Home is where the Art is" Recycled Art Show and Silent Auction at the Spirit Room Gallery in downtown Fargo. Local artists have used materials from Habitat ReStore to create works of art which will auctioned off at the event in support of Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity's programs and local building projects.
The event includes a silent auction, wine tasting from Bernie's Wine and Spirits, and appetizers from local restaurants. Tickets are on sale at fargostuff.com, the Spirit Room and Habitat ReStore for $15 or $20 at the door. Must be 21 or older to attend.
Artwork is on display at the Spirit Room, 111 Broadway starting January 16th. The Spirit Room is open 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Mon – Fri and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sat. Art is also available for viewing on Flickr.

Tour de Habitat
Location: Courts Plus Fitness - 3491 University Dr S, Fargo
Event Time: 12:30 p.m. Check in / 1:00 p.m. Race begins
Tour de Habitat is a stationary bike race where teams, consisting of 6 riders, raise money for Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity and race to complete the most miles. Fun for all skill levels. Prizes and t-shirts are awarded. Each rider competes in a 15 minute heat. All riders must be pre-registered with a team. Each team is asked to raise $1500 for Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity to help build homes in 2012! Help us reach our goal of $40,000!
