Carpenter's Club

The Carpenter's Club has been created to give individuals, organizations and businesses the opportunity to regularly support Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity. Your membership will help us eliminate substandard housing in Cass and Clay counties.

As a memeber of the Carpenter's Club, you will receive our newsletter, invitations to our home dedications and recognition at special events. More importantly, you will be part of a worldwide mission to provide simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with those in need.

Crew Leaders
15- 20 Volunteers needed for the 2009 Build Season
Crew Leaders are used at the build site to work along side a small group of volunteers. Responsibilities include planning projects, reporting material needs to the Construction Manager, and scheduling daily activities.

Skills required: Good organizational skills, willingness to work with with volunteers, support the Habitat mission, have knowledge of and field experince of construction and methods, good communications skills.

Help fill the Trailer!
Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is proud to announce the newest member of our build Team... A 16' Wells Cargo Utility Trailer!

But now we need your help to fill it. How can you help?

LAHFH has teamed up with Acme Tool Crib of the North to set up a tool registry at their F-M location: 920 36th Street SW, Fargo, ND 701-476-4600 or 800-437-4100.

All you have to do is go to Acme Tool Crib and ask for Mark Lindlauf. Mark will show you a list of tools that our affiliate needs in order to keep building simple, decent and affordable housing in our community.

The list includes everything from...
...Small Hand Tools (hammers, tape measures, utility knives, etc.)
...Ladders (Extension, Folding, Scaffolding, etc.)
...Power Tools (Miter Saw, Circular Saw, Saws All, etc.)

Remember, Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization, so all donations are tax-deductable. To get a tax-deductable receipt, send your Acme Tool Crib receipt to LAHFH, PO Box 1022, Moorhead, MN 56561

All tools must be purchased by June 1st in order to have tools ready for our first Blitz Build. Please leave donated tools at Acme Electric Tool Crib.

Can't get to Acme Electric Tool Crib? Send a monetary donation to LAHFH, specifiy that you would like your donation to go towards "Filll the Trailer".
